Colorado Community College Online (CCCOnline)
In 1995, the Colorado Legislature authorized the creation of Colorado Electronic Community College. This program brought together the 13 colleges in the Colorado Community College system to provide an alternative delivery of classes. Eventually the program evolved into CCCOnline.
CCCOnilne is not a college in itself, but rather an extension of the 13 system colleges. Therefore you will not receive a degree from CCCOnline, instead you will choose a "home college" and all credits, degrees, and transcripts will be issued from that institute. EPCE recommends that you select Community College of Denver as your "home college".
CCCOnline is recognized by several national associations - the State Higher Education Officers (SHEEO), the Western Cooperative for Educational Telecommunications (WCET), and the National Center for Academic Telecommunications (NCAT).
