EPCE Congratulates WPI on its 150th Anniversary

WPI 150th AnniversaryEPCE congratulates Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI), one of the nation’s oldest engineering and technology colleges, on its 150th anniversary. Since 1865, WPI’s reputation as a leading engineering institution has been cemented by having received numerous awards and having graduated more than two dozen Fulbright Scholars.

From the time of its founding, WPI’s motto of “Theory and Practice” has represented consistency in producing some of the country’s finest engineering students. WPI’s faculty, from the beginnings of the institution, has been at the forefront of innovative instruction and research, and they have played a critical role furthering the passion that students have for science and technology. That dedication to WPI’s physical campus also exists to its distance learners, many of whom are training for energy industry careers in companies across the nation, and are being aided in their professional pursuits by EPCE, of which WPI is a proud educational partner.

We look forward to many great years ahead for WPI, and for the imprint it will continue to leave on American science and technology. We salute WPI on reaching this special milestone.
