EPCE has co-developed with its education partners unique online technical courses directly related to the electric utility industry. There are both non-credit and credit courses.

Non-credit training courses

  • Orientation to the Electrical Industry
    This course provides the history of the electrical industry. It covers the major players in creation, development and structure of today's electric power industry. It also deals with the basics of generation, transmission, and distribution. The course discusses the impact of deregulation, new technologies, and the future outlook of the electrical industry.
  • Industrial Aptitude Test Preparation
    This course exposes students to a variety types of lessons and questions focusing on reading comprehension, mechanical aptitude, spatial aptitude and general mathematics that they will face in an Industrial Aptitude test. This self-paced course results in maximum test result by building self-confidence and helps students avoid the “test anxiety” that causes low test scores.
